Anti Entropy is funded by the generosity of donors and grantmakers looking to strengthen the operational infrastructure of high-impact nonprofits.
You can support Anti Entropy in several ways:
You can make an unrestricted donation to Anti Entropy to support its mission: to ensure that impactful organizations have strong and functional operations. Donations will be used to cover general operating expenses.
Unrestricted donations are invaluable as they allow us to respond flexibly to the most pressing operational needs in the high-impact nonprofit ecosystem. Your contribution enables us to:
Provide free or subsidized operational support to early-stage nonprofits working on critical global challenges
Continue developing and maintaining the Resource Portal, making essential operational knowledge freely accessible to all impact-focused organizations
Strengthen the SparkWell accelerator program, helping promising projects test ideas and launch as independent entities more efficiently
Invest in research and development of new tools, templates, and frameworks that reduce operational burdens for the entire sector
Offer emergency operational assistance to high-impact organizations facing unexpected challenges
Every dollar contributed to Anti Entropy's general fund helps build a stronger operational foundation for organizations tackling today's most urgent problems—from AI safety and pandemic prevention to climate change mitigation and improving global well-being.
If you’re interested in donating to Anti Entropy, please email contactus@antientropy.org.
You can make a restricted donation to the SparkWell fund, to support infrastructure that helps high-impact nonprofit projects test ideas, develop operational capabilities, and launch as independent entities. Donations may be used to compensate advisors of SparkWell projects, cover legal fees associated with our fiscal sponsorship agreements, and other operating expenses.
Donations to SparkWell allow us to provide a temporary home for a diverse range of promising initiatives. Your contribution enables us to offer the following to our sponsored projects:
Administrative infrastructure — including legal compliance monitoring and risk management
Dedicated guidance — including a customized roadmap with milestone tracking
Financial services — including a bank account, bookkeeping, budget tracking, and controls
Operational support — including support for hiring employees and contractors
Transition planning — including guidance on board formation and governance structure
Program development — including ongoing improvement of our resources and support systems
Every dollar contributed to SparkWell helps us provide exceptional support to projects tackling today's most urgent problems—from AI safety and pandemic prevention to climate change mitigation and improving global well-being.
If you’re interested in donating to SparkWell, please email contactus@antientropy.org.
You can make a restricted donation to a specific project enrolled in the SparkWell program. Just choose a project from our current cohort and get in touch via email.
SparkWell offers a host of services to projects looking to test their ideas and scale. Each of our projects conducts its own fundraising, so your donations are essential to get them off the ground. How your donation is used is at the discretion of your chosen project, but will likely be used to cover staff expenses and project activities.
All donations received by your chosen project will be subject to SparkWell’s 7% program fee, which is used to ensure that all SparkWell projects receive administrative infrastructure, dedicated guidance, financial services, operational support, transition planning, and program development.
If you’re interested in funding a specific SparkWell project, please email contactus@antientropy.org.
You can make a restricted donation to support the Resource Portal: a project to gather and build resources for the operations side of running a high-impact organization. Donations may be used to cover maintenance costs, compensate contractors to write new guides, cover legal fees associated with reviewing template policies, and other operating expenses.
Donations to the Resource Portal are invaluable as they allow us to offer a collection of free guides designed to help nonprofits operate efficiently and compliantly. Your contribution enables us to create and distribute free materials across a range of categories, including:
Governance and compliance
Grants, scholarships, and fellowships
Handbook policies
Data privacy and security
Fiscal sponsorship
If you’ve ever made use of the Resource Portal yourself, we hope you understand how invaluable these materials can be to young nonprofits tackling today's most urgent problems—from AI safety and pandemic prevention to climate change mitigation and improving global well-being.
If you’re interested in donating to the Resource Portal, please email contactus@antientropy.org.
